Video Game Beta Tester Jobs

What if you can finally know what Companies like Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft look for before hiring testers so that you can finally get into this lucrative industry and get paid what you love to do. A close friend of mine has been frustrated at his day time job for quite some time.

He had heard of some gamers online getting paid to play the exact same things he had been restocking all day at work. Working the same boring 9 to 5 job on a daily basis got to be very boring to him. The only fun he had was when he finally got home from his long day at work to finally get some gaming time in.

A spark bulb went up in his head, "Why not get paid for what I actually like to do?" He decided to save his current game, and walked over to his computer to look around for ways to finally get paid by doing home game testing jobs. He went through site after site seeing the same things over and over....the gaming industry is a $50 billion industry, companies want to gamers to get paid for home game testing jobs blah blah blah.

The problem is that no none was really explaining how to get hired for home game testing jobs. He finally found some online applications, filled them out one by one and just waited. A week went by...nothing, 3 weeks went by and still nothing. The weeks turned to months and finally he got an email....rejection.

What?! Frustrated, he looked around to see why he was denied and why others were getting approved for game testing jobs. After a couple days of research, he found some site that talked about making money through home game testing jobs. Reading everything word by word he discovered that he had made a big mistake that more than likely cost him his chance at getting paid to test games.

He shouldn't have gone through the motions when he had signed up, there are actually certain things companies like Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft were looking for. All he simply had to do was to deliver on what these companies was looking for and the home game testing job was his. Not only that, getting a foot in the door in the gaming industry will allow him to reach other lucrative areas in the gaming industry.
