How Do I Become A Video Game Tester


How would like to get paid to play games for a living? It sure would be great wouldn't it?

However before you can become a video game tester and get paid to play games for a living you have to meet certain requirements beforehand. And don't worry, the requirements are not difficult to meet.

One of the requirements that you need to meet before you can become a video game tester so that you can get paid to play games is that you need to be at least the age of 18 years. This is a standard across many companies such as Nintendo, blizzard and even EA. However in some cases there are some companies out there that might actually hire you if you happen to be under the age of 15.

If you are not of legal age right now, it will be a good idea to gain as much experience as possible in gaming so that your resume will look good when it comes time to apply.

Another requirement that you need to meet if you want to get paid to play games for a living is that you need to be at least a high school graduate. This is the minimum requirements among gaming companies. If you want even be more competitive so that you can land a video game tester job easily, it helps to have some sort of degree with gaming design or programming.

You have to remember that the videogame testing field is very competitive and it helps to have every single edge that you can.
