1. If you want to become a video game beta tester you have to understand that not everything is going to be all fun and games. Even though it is a fun and exciting career to be in, there is a serious part to it as well. There are deadlines that you are going to have to meet as well. Meeting these deadlines are important if you want to continue to become a video game beta tester for companies such as Blizzard, Nintendo etc.

If you continue to miss deadlines or turn in assignments at the last minute, you will find your career cut very short. And this means that you will have to go back to that boring daytime job that you absolutely dread going to.

2. And if you want to become a video game beta tester, there are certain requirements that you have to meet. But don't worry it isn't too difficult. One of the first requirements that you need to meet if you want to become a video game beta tester is that you should be at least 18 years of age. However, there are some companies that do hire individuals that are under the age of 18.

If you are under 18 you can start building up some experience by doing public betas for now. This will help your resume look good when the companies that only hire over the age of 18 come knocking at your door.

Gaming companies like blizzard, ea, Nintendo and more are also looking for some sort of degree as well. But don't worry you do not need a college degree. Just a high school is good enough if you want to go into more advanced areas of the gaming industry beyond a beta games tester.
