A lot of avid video game fanatics have been wondering how to enter the highly lucrative world of becoming a video game tester but unfortunately they do not have any idea how to enter it.

The gaming world is very fast paced and there are new games coming out all the time. Before popular games are released to the public they must be tested to make sure that there aren't any major glitches and problems that will ruin ones game play. And obviously you can understand how important it is to have a game work properly especially when you shell out $40 dollars or more on the best games.

This is why it is important to have a tester to test all games in beta mode before they are released to the public. It is a good idea to have a knack of paying attention to details if you are to become a video game tester. The little glitches can often mean the difference between having a game that gets outstanding reviews and one that dies a horrible death.

The salary for a beginning gaming tester is about $23,000. But after 3 years or more one can expect their pay to be increased to $45 to $60 bucks an hour. Basically the longer you stay in the game testing industry, the more money you stand to make.

In order to get your foot in the door before you become a highly paid gaming tester you must have an application that stands out from the rest of the thousands of other applicants. Obviously the competition is going to be fierce to become a game tester and getting every possible advantage is necessary in order to increase your chances of being accepted to become a game tester.
