How Can I Be A Video Game Tester

Some gamers out there are currently asking the question, "can I get paid to play video games?" And the answer is yes, you can get paid to play video games but there is a lot more to it than that.

Sure it seems fun to get paid to play video games for a living, right? I am sure you would rather sit at home in your pajamas all day long will you collect the checks instead of being forced to drag yourself out of bed to go to some boring day time job. Yes it sure seems nice to get paid to play games but there are cons and pros when you make the commitment to play the latest games for a living

1. Getting to work from home is a major plus if you hate dragging yourself out of bed every morning. You will get to work on your own schedule and you don't have to dress up in some funny uniform because someone said so. You can basically get paid in your pajamas for the rest of your life.

2. Another positive thing about getting paid to play games is that you are in control of how much work you get. It is really up to you whether or not you want to test a boat load of games all day long or you can just focus on a few games so that your schedule wouldn't be too demanding.

3. However the downside with becoming a game tester is that there are no job benefits or insurance. All you get is a paycheck. But you can easily begin getting job benefits and insurance when you move up in the ladder in the gaming industry. This means moving into other areas such as game designing etc. And moving up in the ladder begins by being a good game tester.
