Education

Degrees such as gaming design, graphics and even programming are acceptable if you want to move up in the ladder.

Age requirement

If you want to become a video game tester it would help you if you are at least the age of 18 years of age and older. In fact most companies will only hire those individuals that are at least 18 years of age. In some rare cases they might even hire you if you are under 18 but this is very rare. But if you happen to not be of that age yet it will help you to build up your resume before hand.
